BHS Challenge Awards Training and Assessment

Where: Balcultry Stables EC, Swords Co Dublin.

Starts: Wednesday 4^th October 2023 7pm -9pm. 2hrs over 4 weeks. (4^th, 11^th, 18^th and 25^th October)

Covers: BHS Silver CA The Care Section Caring, Knowing and Handing Horses.

Training Fee: €200 Handouts and reading materials included.

Assessment: (Optional and extra cost) 3 awards and booklets in the Care Section. Saturday 11^th November am.

These BHS Silver Awards will grant you direct entry to BHS Stage 2 on completion. There are 8 subjects/topics and are equal topics in the BHS Stage 1 and more. The training will cover the contents of the Bronze and Silver Awards.
Entry Requirements: A good understanding of horses is required; Riding sections you should be competent in trot, canter and jumping. Silver awards are recommended for over 13 years of age. Please read the Challenge Awards Learning Outcome document.
