For those of you planning to undertake your BHS Stage 1 Riding Assessment, please keep in mind that the first step is to complete your BHS Ride Safe Silver Award Challenge. While you can participate in the Stage 1 Riding Assessment without this award, please note that you will not receive your certificate unless you have successfully completed the Ride Safe Award. You can obtain this award either before or after your assessments.

Are you ready to enhance your riding skills and prepare for your BHS Stage 1 Assessment? We’re excited to announce our upcoming BHS Ride Safe Challenge Awards Silver course, which is a vital first step you won’t want to miss!
Course Details:
• Start Date: Monday, October 21st, at 7 PM (online via Zoom)
• Format: Theory and assessment conducted online, including essential lessons on road safety and riding techniques
• Closing Date for Booking: October 15th email us @ Balcultrystables@gmail.com
• Riding Assessment: Thursday, October 31st, from 10 AM to 1 PM
Cost: €160 (includes your horse, learning materials, and a certificate)

This comprehensive course is designed for riders who are confident trotting and cantering on different horses and can ride with one hand on the reins. Please note that height and weight restrictions apply: participants must be under 5’8″ tall and weigh under 80 kg.
